Patrick Mahomes has broken many records in his two short years at quarterback for the chiefs of Kansas City. After winning MVP last season he one upped himself this season. After having a lesser season from the year before due to injury Mahomes managed to get himself and his team into the super bowl. This is a tough alone just to get there when lots of star QB's in the NFL have never even played in the game, but not only did he do this he won MVP for the game. After starting out the game slow he stayed calming collected. Even after falling down by 10 points with only minutes left in the game and Mahomes watching his season slip down the drain he maintained the pressure to come strong. After scoring 1 touchdown he came back out and brought his team down the field once again and scored another touchdown. Mahomes is only 25 and the youngest QB to win such a prestigious award. Although he is not the youngest QB to ever do it, being the second youngest behind Ben Roethlisberger who was 23 years old when he won it, he did not win MVP however. Mahomes is on pace to become one of the best players to ever play the game and this just adds on to his list of accomplishments in a early career in only year 2 as a starting quarterback. He continues to break records and by the end of his time I am sure this will not be the only one on his resume.
